2 minute homemade chocolate mousse

I just ate lunch. very delicious – made myself some sweet potato fries, and stir fried okra and tofu. And then I felt like eating some dessert.

If you asked what  my favourite cookie or ice cream flavour was, it would have to be oreo or cookies and cream, hands down. The mix of cream and chocolate is just devine!
I have these ice cream sandwiches in my freezer that someone brought over to one of my parties. I really wanted to eat one. or 5. I knew I wouldn’t stop at just one.

I usually plan my “free” meals and I have quite a few planned this weekend! So I want my body to be optimal and my nutrition on point during the week so that I can enjoy my weekend guilt free! That’s just what works for me.
But I really wanted ice cream!

So I made my own chocolate mousse.

With just 3 ingredients and my Nutribullet!

What you need:

  • one ripe banana (frozen if available)
  • 1/2 of a small avocado
  • 1/4 of Giddy Yoyo dark chocolate bar (cocao powder also works but I didn’t have any)
  • ice cubes (I didn’t have frozen bananas)

What to do:

  • chuck everything in a blender and blend until smooth

Raw, vegan, unprocessed, and loaded with iron, magnesium, potassium and EFAs!
