Weekend Highlights

I was never known to be a generous person. In fact, for most of my life, I’ve been power hungry, a control freak, selfish, self-centred, attention craving, money chasing, and an impatient person. But the universe has given me many chances to learn from mistakes I’ve made, friends I’ve gained and lost, and I am slowly learning to live in the moment, count my blessings, relinquish control, and keep myself surrounded by positive and supportive people who make me better each day. No matter how many times I’ve screwed up, there have been a handful of people who have stuck by me NO MATTER WHAT – so I think that’s a sign that I am capable and worth a lot more. I continue to battle with my inner demons and I question my happiness now more than ever. But after a weekend like the one that just past, I’ve found one answer to life’s many questions. If I could do one thing for the world, every day for the rest of my life, not for money, not for a sweet beach vacation, not for a place to live, but to feel fulfilled and genuinely happy, what would it be? It would be to TEACH YOGA. Bring the practice to the masses. Promote strength, flexibility, body awareness, healing, humility, vulnerability, and self-love. I love being able to relate to every single person I touch in some way.

Thank you everyone who came out this Saturday to our Yellow Brick House Fundraising event at Fit Body Bootcamps in Vaughan. The turn-out was incredible and the support was very appreciated. I especially thank those who couldn’t be there in person but sent me positive vibes, e-mails and texts leading up to the event, wishing me a great class. Thank you for thinking of me!

I just wanted to share some highlights from bootcamp and yoga below. I enjoyed every minute of it, and although I have much to learn and lots of room for improvement, I can confidently say that I guide each class with 100% authenticity. I have never been able to say that I have given something my 100% focus because I try to do too many things  at once. I try to be good at everything.  I want everything – GLUTTONY! But I am learning. Enjoy and stay tuned for more events and yoga with ME!

Also, if you would like to get to know or get in touch with any of the trainers involved in Saturday’s event, give them a follow and check out what they’re all about! I am proud to be part of such a strong and passionate team of individuals.
