Lean & Strong Arms & Abs 2 – Planks and Push-Ups

This is a continuation of my previous post on how to correctly execute the up and down dogs. In this post, I will show you how to properly execute the plank, tricep push up and chest push up (chatarunga dandasana)

Call me passionate, anal, or picky, but if you’ve ever attended my yoga classes or worked with me one-on-one, you know how important It is to me about executing a proper plank and push up – among other things

If you want to burn fat and build muscle, you have to build a solid foundation with mobility and strength. You stand, you’re body is set up in a plank. Top of a push up, you’re in a plank, top of a KB swing, plank, handstand, you’re in a plank, TRX rows, plank…you get idea


This video will break down all the proper alignments, contractions and engagements in all 4 parts of focus: the shoulder, ribcage(in turn, the abs), pelvis, and the feet
